I always thought you where a fan of DBZ. It was actually quite refreshing to see a DBZ parody that wasn't seriously homoerotic or just flat out reticules. I'm quite excited to see more DBZ videos from you.

cheers

Hi Chris, long time, no see. Just wanted to add my usual gushing, mindless praise to your work, as always, so, in brief, I continue to be mightily impressed by your output, no only in terms of quantity, but also in terms of quality, both of which are absolutely mind-blowing. Wish I could add more, but repetition is boring.

Kudos!

vert! thanks man. quantity is going to drop off for the next few months.....

Excellent work on the DBZ animation! Hmm, so the boys are doing a music video that doesn't harken back to 80's music? Still enjoy the 70's hedonistic tone of your work, but wouldn't mind seeing some new influences :3 Cheers, mate!

i saw it on youtbe, and it was fun.

I saw this on You Tube. It was very amusing, as usual. However, I am going to focus on the news about the music video. I am glad to hear about that music video. You see, you have a lot of excellent characters. There are certain ones I don't think we get to see enough of because your work is so varied. It's like the spotlight isn't big enough for everyone most of the time. Gooseman is one of those characters who I think needs a bit more face time. He is also one of my top three favorites out of all the great characters you have ever made, along with Raptor Jesus and Great Destiny Man. I just don't think we see Gooseman much except as a side note to Fernando. But he has great moments when he is briefly featured, especially in your music videos. I just wanted to say that I am glad that we will get to see more Gooseman regardless of what his roll is in this video.

he's singing this one!

the problem i have when it comes to gooseman is that all of my ideas involving him are too large in scope for me to animate. i always write him doing lots of action and the ideas tend to accumulate a couple of thousand words and suddenly boom i know its too big for me to make. just recently i started a comic with him and i've kind of stalled on the 12th page. i don't know how i could animate it if i can't even finish the comic!

Dude your voice acting and writing is absolutely top natch, in combination with the amazing artwork your stuff just god damn genius.

thanks!

I know you tend to rely on yourself and a friend here or there for your work, but if you ever come back to doing another DBZ animation, hit me up. Rumor has it that my Vegeta impression isn't half bad.

uh but then i'd have a different vegeta to the first one.

I want to lick you so bad, man.

cool.

I second that Pegasu.

Now you're going to be consumed by bitterness... DBZ was good fun though. Oh god, Gooseman's singing this next one? "Whooooaooaaaaooooooh - The Musical Voyage". I'm.... Moderately confident it won't be. Looking forward to this unholy beast!

cheers. the title is "Vertical Seafood Taco"

Hey there!
Well, I'm just passing by to say you're one of the best flash animators and creators I know in the web. Yes, you have guys like Egoraptor and the such, but you have created a really personal style, reflected in the drawings, animation and humor. Most people enjoy others stuff and don't stop by to say "Hey! that was f***ing great!" and I think you deserve that. Besides, you give a really funny insight into the, by now, dull male humor of "you're/that's gay, haha!", it's almost like something new.

Having studied some Adobe Flash I know how hard it is to do what you do, and I'm astonished by the amount of work you show us with little time in between submissions. Almost every time I check Newgrounds I find something from you, well thought ideas (even if they're kind of crazy) and good animation and drawings in every one of them.

Keep it up man! You're great!
Long review I know.
Just... yeah

thanks a lot!

NG is borked and I can't write reviews, so I'm doing it here. My favourite part was the "Hrnghgngnhnghngnhnghngnhnghnrhngnrghn!!11!" Just like in the real DBZ, lol!

What are your thoughts on the new movie?

The one with the evil purple rabbity thing.

it looks interesting, i'll certainly watch it.

It's pretty good but at least you should add that the original concept of Vegeta in proctology is not fully yours but from RalToons.

although i am disappointed that i am not the first to make vegeta a proctologist, i cannot be expected to know about parodies in languages I do not speak.

Lobster I want you to pump a baby in me if you make a DBZ sequel

i do kind of want to work with the piccolo lawyer idea, but i haven't had any solid ideas for it yet.

What, a new music video featuring Fernando and Gooseman? Oh FAP!!... I mean, oh snap... or is it oh fap after all???

But yeah, Toriyama's art style is a bit depective. There are dozens of people like Gogeta Jr or Beta on the web who are true pros at emulating his style, I for one suck massive monkey scorpion pinchers every time I dare to attempt it. I've also been trying to copy your style as well. On the other ahdn, I do love seeing DBZ characters in this slightly SexuaLobsterized manner!

i am hoping the new song and film will be most fap worthy.

as an animator i'm supposed to be able to match styles perfectly, but for this one i didn't want them too similar, i wanted them to be mostly toriyama but with a bit of me. i had a lot of trouble with bulma's eyes, actually. her irises and pupils are gigantic.

Going through the comments, it seems like Gooseman is a big source of inspiration for you. Good. We like him, too.

I don't know what to tell you about project scope. My advice is to never abandon or throw away the ideas you have for Gooseman. Work on your skills as an animator and story teller. There's no guarantee that large projects will ever be easy, but they'll certainly get easier.

Big ideas force you to search for "their essence" in order to reduce their scope to something feasible.

"although i am disappointed that i am not the first to make vegeta a proctologist, i cannot be expected to know about parodies in languages I do not speak."

Aside from the fact that someone else on planet earth had the gonads (or colon, perhaps?) to make Vegeta a proctologist? Your responses to people's accusations seem to assume that this was at all a logical idea.

gooseman is not a source of inspiration, he's just an actor, but one who is inclined to action scenes. Pleasure Island 4 is an example of a massive project involving him that i started and finished.

your advice about project management is nice but after making 50 odd films i think i am aware of my limits. if i start an 8 minute action film i won't finish it, or it will take me a year and i'll hate it. when i'm ready for that commitment maybe i'll take it on.

I so forgot that you've been doing animations forever.

So used to having to give advice.

No one really wants to learn software development, you know? They just pretend to.

Sexuallobster, why i can't find any pictures of you? I wanna see the real man behind this madness

but but i use a picture of me for my avatar on this site.
