Sexual-Lobster's News

Posted by Sexual-Lobster - December 21st, 2012

Hello.

Enough small talk. I have a new music video of sorts, called Groangasm. The song is here on Newgrounds.

I'm not planning on putting it on Newgrounds, it's a bit too shit really, it's more of an experiment that took a few hours rather than a proper film.

I'm not going to have a new film up for a while because of work commitments. But come 2013, holy shit, I shall release a plague of films upon the world that dwarfs my feeble efforts of 2012.

I have a new series called Space Adventure Legend Quest coming out January 12th on the happy hour channel. Because this was something I made for them I will not be able to upload it to Newgrounds unfortunately.

Presently I am working on another, larger Ragemelon cartoon. It should be up in February some time.

Hey there handsome

These are all amazing! I love them! I am honoured!

I was hoping to create those dynamic links like in the news threads, is that possible here?

I would like to give a plug to a fine gentleman who sometimes goes by the hard to spell name of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern who has drawn an epic comic featuring Gooseman and Fernando called "Gooseman runs for Office". It chronicles Gooseman's campaign to get elected to the senate in order to pursue his twisted cocaine related agenda. Read the comic!

Sssooooooo you decided to read a news post of mine, huh? Interesting decision. Normally you'd be wasting your time, but luckily today I have a new film for you, it is called Contagious and you can watch it here.

The concept is that Gooseman, Fernando and Randy have acquired an entire office building that has been left vacant by some company that Gooseman probably fatally sabotaged in some way. They have who knows how many floors to themselves but the only legitimate business between them is Fernando's singing career, which is on hiatus at the moment, so instead of doing something constructive they eat lots of yoghurt and become involved in sexual intrigues.

It is a cartoonification of this comic.

This is another comic which also takes place in the Manwhore Industries building. I was originally going to animate this one first but now I'm thinking I won't at all.

Both comics are a bit shitty because I drew them on holiday, mostly on wobbly tables in poor lighting. That's my excuse, anyway.

HEY GANG SUP????

HELLO FRIENDS.

I have birthed this film for you called The Four Horsemen.

Eons ago I uploaded this comic to Newgrounds, thinking at the time I would draw more of the adventures of these characters and hammer them into the shape of a webcomic, but then I realised their magnificence was too great for comic form. Peter and I have had copious volumes of other ideas for these characters. I hope that I will be able to animate some of them in the future.

Elsewise I am animating this awesome comic with Curtis Richardson-Smith, who is also on Newgrounds.

I am also animating this comic featuring Fernando and Gooseman. I would upload it to Newgrounds but it is larger than the maximum amount of pixels allowed in the art portal. That's right friends, the mass and dare I say girth of my pixels are TOO GREAT for Newgrounds.

Due to real life work getting in the way, these films will not appear instantaneously, but certainly both will exist at a fitting and suitable point in time and space, that is a somewhat flaccid promise but there it is.

Also, I want to thank anyone who voted for Central Bwankers in the monthly voting, it got 2nd place for the month and won the $250 cash prize. I think its fantastic that Newgrounds encourages the making of films with original characters this way. I've made the occasional parody myself but I think its more fun working with original characters. And so ends another chapter of "Lobster's cool stories."

It's up!

I've uploaded two new walrus-themed songs as well:

Scent of a Walrus
Walrus Pit

Also, I'm hocking shirts now! So if you've ever wondered what it would feel like to be encased in Manwhore, this is probably as close you'll get. For added authenticity be sure never, ever to wash them. They will grow more authentic over time.

I've finally pulled my finger out and I'm working on Pleasure Island 4 again.

I'm gonna be pumping the Eurodance to get me through this.

edit: its going up tomorrow! i just gotta fix a few things so it works in flash first.

Watch Opium Cop

It was written with my creamiest collaborator, Peter Kozak.

We wrote it in comic form (as usual). But this time we changed the story considerably after the comic.

Also I have uploaded a new comic to Newgrounds that I have been working on, again written with Peter. I'm thinking of making more in this style as it was fun to do. It's set in a magical sharehouse where Death lives with the other three Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Hey dudes,

So I just uploaded a new film called Knife Dance.

It's pretty cool. You should probably watch it. No pressure, though.

Like a lot of my films, it is based on a comic my friends and I came up with. Here's the comic if you want to read it. One person draws the first panel, then we pass the comic around and make the story up as we go along.

This one was drawn with Peter Yong, a concept artist, and Peter Kozak, a traditional media artist.

I uploaded a new film today, watch Dancebreak!

I was asked to make a film to promote Drive, a youtube channel. It had to have something to do with cars. I'm not really a car buff and I'm not even that good at drawing them, so a film with a massive car crash in it (ooh spoiler) is about as car relevant as I can be.

I found this screenshot I took of the Newgrounds main page in 2005, when a film of mine was put on there for the first time. What with the redesign and all I think its a good time to post it. This was several redesigns ago of course.

On another note, why is everyone saying "dafuq" all of a sudden? I mean, I know how memes get spread around and how language changes gradually over time, but this one seems particularly moronic.

Anyone feel like dancing?

Watch Donut Quest

This is a music video I made for another song way back in August last year. I was supposed to receive the finished song but never did, so eventually I made a new song for it. The new song is an electro version of one of my old band's songs. The original song was a thrash thrash metal song so the vibes are totally different, but I think the new one works ok.

Also I've put a new comic called Contagious featuring Gooseman, Fernando and Randy on my site. I'd like to make it into a cartoon but if I do it won't be for a while.

Also, the new Project System is really cool, well done on that!
