Pleasure Island 3 is part one of a three part story about Fernando the Squidhunting Manwhore, a former crack addict on the mend whose only desire is to fight squid.

But what happens when he encounters a genetically engineered Walrus that can shoot LASERS OUT OF ITS MOUTH???? HMM???

So yeh... most of the cast of Pleasure Island 2 makes a return, but really you don't have to have seen the earlier episodes, but they probably would help set the scene a little.

Does anyone remember Fernando? He hasn't made an appearance on Newgrounds for 3 years, but I'm hoping a few people still remember him.

Earlier today Julia Gillard deposed Kevin Rudd. I predicted it would happen last June in Parliament Deathmatch.

Copenhagen went down in flames (it didn't literally burn but it may as well have) due to different nations stuffing around. I predicted that too in Captain Planet goes to Copenhagen.

So now all I need for a prophecy trifecta is for Raptor Jesus to return to Earth and devour a baby. Or Tony Abbott pole dancing, I'll take either one.

Picture them over the top of the Squidhunting Manwhore loop - fast paced and monotone.

It would be rapped by Fernando, if anyone remembers him.

Here's what i got so far:

Love as large as brontosaurus
Passion like a bleeding walrus
Our love is real it's no mirage
Want to lock you in my garage

***EDIT***

BTW Fernando is a kind and gentle soul, sure he's creepy but no explicit violent stuff please.

I know the garage line is seedy but it's meant in a playful way, I think there's a line of good taste.

Last night Q&A, a panel show here in Australia, played Ask Raptor Jesusat the end of their show.

I had to reduce the time down to as close to a minute as possible, so I cut the introductory spiel and shortened the poledancing at the end (which was like cutting off one of my own limbs but it had to be done).

The crowd reaction seemed positive, but I think that maybe Parliament Deathmatch got more laughs when they played it last August. According to a site that publishes television ratings, the episode was watched by 582,000 people, but I am unsure how accurate that number is and how many of them stuck around until the credits.

As always, thanks Newgrounds for hosting it and thanks for the reviews and feedback! I will turn up again sooner or later with Pleasure Island 3.

Ps I love that Squidhunting Manwhore was, however briefly, the #1 song.

And congratulations to James & Hania for Tarboy winning the film of 09, I was again privileged to be a judge this year and this time I picked the winner!

How are we all?

I recently took a break from animation and drew a comic called "Cat Stab". I put about as much as effort into it as I would a standard sized animation so do check it out because I'll be very sad if you don't and I hope you don't want to make me sad. It features Gooseman from Pleasure Island 2 and two other characters from my older films. I'm not sure many of you will remember Manny and Fernando, the last time they appeared was in 2007 in The Lizard Vortex.

I've got two animations in the pipeline at the moment. The first is tentatively called QandA with Raptor Jesus. It's another short for Q&A, a local panel show here in Australia that plays videos people send in on the end of their show. So far they've played Parliament Deathmatch and Captain Planet Strip Club, so I'm hoping they'll make room for me again. Captain Planet will be back and, as the title suggests, Raptor Jesus will also be on the panel.

The second animation is Pleasure Island 3. Like the first two I started it and then put it aside as work projects came up, but I solemnly pledge to at least finish the first half. When it's finished it will clock in at 5 or 6 minutes, so it's a pretty epic project.

Randy is lying dormant but his/her time will come.

Hello! How are you? I am well.

Great Destiny Man is my graduate film for my animation course. I have been sitting on it for a while because I was told that the Uni planned to mail it out to film festivals, some of which require that they be the first screening of the film and that it not be available elsewhere. Today I found out that they are indeed mailing it to a list of festivals, but that none of them stipulate that the film not have been shown anywhere else, so that means I can finally upload it! I think I've been talking about it for so long that I've built it up too much, really it's quite short and it's just an action scene with a few jokes thrown in.

The flash version is actually a little different from the video version. I had to simplify some backgrounds and take out some camera moves and multi-plane effects because they were a little too much for Flash to handle properly. Hopefully it will play smoothly for everyone. Let me know if it doesn't.

Also, if anyone is interested, I kept a progress blog while making Great Destiny Man. It was an assessment requirement!

Some of you may remember Gooseman, Manny and Fernando from a few years back (although Gooseman did appear recently in Pleasure Island 2). I've started a comic called "Cat Stab" featuring them for something a little different, I'm enjoying a small break from animation and it's been pretty fun to work on a comic again.

This is my final assessment piece for my Digital Compositing course. I'm hoping some Hollywood highroller will throw a few mil at me to write the script.

It's sad how much time went into this.

I've pretty much finished my final assessment piece for the course Great Destiny Man, I am not sure when I'll be able to upload it though because I think it's supposed to be assessed first. Also, there's heaps of effects and large raster images in there so I think I'll have to make a different version for Newgrounds...and that might take a while because right now I can't stand the sight of the damn thing cause I've been looking at it for so long.

This is the walkthrough I wrote as part of the submission requirements if anyone is interested.

I found writing jokes around politics and environmentalism challenging, so I'm really pleased to see Captain Planet Strip Club is getting a warm reception here!

The full title is "Captain Planet goes to Copenhagen", but obviously that doesn't fit into Newgrounds' title character limit. But let me assure you, there ARE titties in the film, and they bounce.

Last night a vastly shortened version was aired here in Australia on the ABC's Q&A program. Sadly they were really keen to get it down to 1 minute so they asked me to cut 20 seconds from the film, and then they cut the credits off themselves, so I'm not going to upload the segment to Youtube like I did last time.

But here's the full version on Youtube anyway.

I asked them to plug my website GreasyMoose.com, but according to presenter Tony Jones I belong to a shadowy organisation that goes by name of "Greasy Mouse".

We are Greasy Mouse. We are in your schools. We are in your homes. You cannot catch us BECAUSE WE ARE SMALL AND SLIPPERY.

Q&A, a panel show on TV here in Australia, played my cartoon Parliament Deathmatch last night. Two of the three people in the cartoon, Leader of the Opposition Malcolm Turnbull and Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard, were on the panel and had no choice but to watch it!

I was a little disappointed that presenter Tony Jones introduced it as a "video manga fantasy", I think calling it that trivialised it somewhat. The comment within the cartoon is about Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's lack of substance and Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard's leadership ambitions. Also he said "Parliamentary" instead of "Parliament", I guess my title must be grammatically incorrect or something, oh well.

You could skip the first 50 seconds, I left it there to include the shot of the guests at the very start.

The audience was made up entirely of 16-25 year olds, an age group I think is more likely to find this sort of humour funny. However, because all the topics on the show were youth issues, it wasn't nearly as interesting as their shows usually are, so I suspect less people than usual stuck around to watch the very end.

My last submission was only a month ago, but here I am again, with Pleasure Island 2.

I've been working on this on and off since last October, so it was really only the last 10% which I had to do. The reason it took me so long was because I'd left all the boring stuff to the end - all the lip syncing and annoying things like shadows and the whip movement and stuff.

Some of you might remember Gooseman. He hasn't shown his face for 2 years, but now he's back and searching for the legendary Walrus Pit.

In other news, Q&A (an Australian TV show which plays a satirical video at the end of each show) has said they're going to play Parliament Deathmatch, but they haven't said when yet. The lady who contacted me told me they get between 500,000-600,000 viewers each week, which is pretty impressive if true!

My next project is called Great Destiny Man, it's about a swordsman who is totally full of himself. I'm keeping a progress blog (it's required for Uni), check in to see how it's going here.
